4th Annual Dena Hofkosh Symposium

The Hofkosh Pediatric Educator Symposium is designed to provide a platform for pediatric educators to explore innovation and learn best practices in training physicians. The agenda includes opportunities for elevating educational scholarship, faculty development in medical education, research consultation, focused symposium sessions including med ed talks, a workshop, and a session focused on a method for fellow teaching.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this symposium learners will be able to:
• Discuss current strategies to enhance patient behavioral health education for trainees.
• Describe the Keep Stop Start Model for providing effective feedback to trainees.
• Gain insights into ongoing research and advancements in the field of pediatric education.
• Identify ways to transform teaching into scholarship and leverage educational work for academic
recognition.
• Observe examples of how to simplify the process of fellow teaching, making it accessible and engaging for
both fellows and learners.
