6th Annual Pittsburgh Hand Conference

This year’s conference will focus on hand injuries/complications and how they can be avoided or overcome.

Target Audience

Conference will bring together surgeons, occupational therapists, physical therapists, physician assistants and students to share experiences and evidence for handling the complications and techniques used once complications have arisen.

 

Learning Objectives

Participants will:

• Learn treatment techniques and rationale to most effectively treat patients with upper extremity dysfunction that may have not responded well to traditional treatment methods.

• Develop an interdisciplinary understanding of upper extremity injuries by utilizing a team approach.

• Summarize potential complications of hand injuries and identify principles to avoid complications as well as best management of complications when they arise.
