ACHP-2020-Navigating-COVID-19-Pandemic-Webinar-Handout 6-24-20

June 24, 2020

This is this third of three ACHP webinars that were originally planned as in-person programming for its Annual Spring Clinical Collaborative Meeting in Washington, DC on June 3-4, 2020. It will run through WebEx from 3:00pm-4:00pm, Jun 24, 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic has touched every aspect of our lives, and health experts believe we will be living with COVID-19 for some time. How does this new reality shape our future going forward? What does our future look like when viewed from a lens of living with COVID-19 rather than returning to the pre-COVID era? What role do health plans play in keeping their communities safe as the country returns to “a new normal?” Vice Admiral Raquel C. Bono, Washington state’s COVID-19 hospital “czar,” will provide insight into these questions and more.

Target Audience

Participants include ACHP Financial Leaders, Behavioral Health Directors, Pharmacy Directors, Quality Leaders, Medical Directors and Clinical Executives from ACHP member plans.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this Navigating the COVID-19 Pandemic: Insights from Washington State one-hour (1.0) hour long webinar:

Behavioral Health Leaders, Clinical and Quality Executives, Medical Directors, and Pharmacy Directors will gain valuable and practical insights from real-life experiences and policies put into place at ground zero of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, to assist them in their daily work of navigating the COVID-19 pandemic as clinical leaders of nonprofit, community-based health plans
