The 18th Annual Perinatal and Neonatal Health Care Conference for Nurses and Allied Health Staff

October 17, 2020 to October 24, 2020

This conference will bring awareness to the bedside nurse of the health disparities that exist in the United States. The bedside nurse is an advocate and with this additional knowledge can work with the healthcare team to promote quality care to all populations that we serve.

Learning Objectives

The learner will be able to describe the health care disparities in obstetric and neonatal  populations in the United States and within the tri-state area.

The learner will be able to identify two ways of mitigating health care disparities in obstetric and pediatric populations.

The learner will be able to apply two means to reduce health disparities in obstetric and neonatal populations within their practice.
