Learning Objectives

1. The audience will learn how to better prevent burnout and increase wellness for themselves and the staff they oversee.
2. The audience will learn about the UPMC Health Plan and the Payor-Provider strategy while gaining connections for who to reach out to with new ideas.
3. The audience will be better prepared to build the right teams for projects and learn how to promote them on achieving goals.
4. The audience will be able to discuss and brainstorm ways to improve the ambulatory department based on the information learned throughout the retreat.

12:20 – 12:50              LifeSolutions – Compassion Fatigue: The Challenges and Rewards of Caring for Others presentation (30 minutes)

12:50 – 12:52             Introduction/transition to second speaker

12:52 – 1:22               Wolff Center: Building the Right Team for a Project presentation (30 minutes)

1:22 – 1:24                 Introduction/transition to third speaker

1:24 – 1:54                  Health Plan: Payor-Provider Strategy Presentation (30 minutes)

1:54 – 2:00                  Explanation of the different breakout rooms and how it will work and dismiss for break

2:00 – 2:15                  Break and transition into first breakout

2:15 – 2:50                 Breakout room presentations (5 minutes for explanation, 30 minutes for discussion)
