Learning Objectives
1. Participants will distinguish between medication compliance/adherence and medication empowerment.
2. Participants will identify two challenges on the journey to use medication to support recovery.
3. Participants will gain knowledge how to use the Medication Empowerment Self-Assessment checklist.
4. Participants will identify how clozapine has been shown in studies to be superior compared to other medications for improving mood and psychotic symptoms, decreasing suicidal thinking and behavior, and mitigating risk to others.
