December 14, 2023

The Pennsylvania Long-Term Care Learning Collaborative is open to all nursing facilities, fostering the exchange of best practices among Pennsylvania-based facilities. Its primary aim is to promote interprofessional collaboration and skill development among nursing facility staff, ultimately leading to more consistent practices and an improved quality of life and care for residents. The program's themes align with the Nursing Facility Quality Incentive Program, as administered by the Department of Human Services, Office on Long-Term Living (DHS/OLTL).
During the fourth quarter of 2023, the focus has been workforce opportunities. Attendees will hear from several Associations and the Department of Human Services | Office of Long-Term Living on relevant topics impacting nursing facilities including LTSS Evolve, staff vaccination rates and association updates. Additionally, participants will hear about the Top 10 Tips for nursing facilities when working with service coordinators, and updates from the Pennsylvania Teaching Nursing Home Collaborative.
