Cultural Humility Practice in Behavioral Health

This activity will bolster provider’s understanding of concepts related to cultural humility in practice and strategies they can use to more effectively communicate with patients, families, and other team members. In addition, exploration of community resources will equip providers with valuable connections that can be taken back to their team members.

 Participants will learn how to apply concepts of cultural humility to their work. Participants will learn about quality improvement techniques to practice implementing changes to their practice Participants will engage in action planning around cultural humility in their practice to apply their knowledge to their roles Participants will learn about additional resources to support consumers of various identities
