An expectation of the My Nursing Residency program is the development of a quality improvement or evidence-based practice project. My Nursing Residency Project coaches are not confident in their ability to lead nurse residents through the process of developing a quality improvement or evidence-based practice project. Effective mentoring and guidance in these projects is essential for success of the nurse residents.

The learner will be able to develop a quality improvement or evidence-based practice project.
The learner will be able to become confident confident in their ability to lead nurse residents through the process of developing a quality improvement or evidence-based practice project
The learner will be able to recognize effective mentoring and guidance in these projects that is essential for success of the nurse residents.
The learner will able to be prepared to act in the role of project coach while developing skills regarding this role
