Anti-emetics are frequently used in the inpatient and outpatient setting. These medications can increase the risk of QTc
prolongation which can lead to fatal Torsades de Pointes. This education will discuss the actual risk of QTc prolongation
with these medications and practical management strategies.

2. Identify which anti-emetics have a high vs low risk of QT prolongation.
3. Recognize the QTc interval at which potentially QT-prolonging anti-emetics should be discontinued.
