UPMC Central Pa. National Healthcare Decision Day Lunch and Learn 2025

National Healthcare Decision Day (NHDD) is held on April 16 each year to educate healthcare providers and consumers about advance care planning and empower all to make their wishes for their care known. UPMC Central Pa Supportive Medicine and Palliative Care and Spiritual Care Services will provide a lunch and learn education day on April 23, 2025, from 12 pm to 1 pm. This event is part of the Community Health Needs Assessment implementation plan for seven campuses. The lunch and learn is in-person and virtual. Our purpose is to engage employees to enhance communication between patients, their families, and providers by promoting the use of advance care directives while increasing the number of adults with completed advance care directives.
