COE: Introduction to PA CareerLink® Services
Members of the healthcare team will receive a comprehensive introduction to the PA Career Link Services, including an overview of the various points of entry into the system, navigation strategies to effectively access available services, and information about resources to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. In addition, the session will provide education on the roles of support networks and partners to enhance collaboration and strategies for synthesizing additional resources to create holistic systems of support for clients.

- Role: Part of the national Career One Stop System under WIOA.
- Core Programs
- Title I Adult Services: Career counseling, training access.
- Dislocated Worker Program: Support for laid-off workers.
- Youth Program: Services for ages 14–24 facing employment barriers
- Services Offered
- In-Person Visits
- Common reasons: Computer access, workshops, unemployment services.
- Job Seeker Services
- Free resources: Resume workshops, job search assistance, skill assessments.
- Support: Referrals to community resources, disability/veteran accommodations.
- Additional Programs
- Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC): Employer savings for hiring targeted groups.
- Federal Bonding Program: Free insurance for at-risk job seekers.
- On-the-Job Training (OJT): Wage reimbursement for employers training new hires.
