New medications and new guidelines are constantly being released. Pharmacists need a mechanism to keep up with these new medications and guidelines.

Patients with cirrhosis are at high risk of thrombosis and bleeding. Literature is conflicting on the efficacy and safety of anticoagulation in this population. This education will detail appropriate treatment recommendations for the use of direct oral anticoagulants in the setting of cirrhosis.
