Medicine is constantly changing, and providers need to be up to date on current trends and best practices as it relates to contraception, diagnosis and management of pericarditis, and pediatric diabetes and obesity. This course will review and prepare the nurse practitioner and physician's assistant to provide care to a wide variety of patients including those needing contraceptive counseling, care related to management of pericarditis, and using diabetes technologies or novel medications for treatment of obesity.
